change starts with me

As we grow up, we face a large number of difficulties, such as with academic performance and relationships with friends, because no one is perfect. If I were to name what I most want to change about myself, widening my horizons instantly emerges in my mind. Most people take it for granted that standing upon a giant’s shoulder can make us see further than he does, and I think likewise. The following are the methods I am using to change myself.

As is known to virtually everybody, reading a variety of books can not only broaden our views but also cultivate our minds. But what specific actions have I taken to achieve my goal? For one, instead of purchasing books at the bookstore, I go to a library to borrow books, lest I put them on my bookshelf before finishing them. Another thing is I go to museums or attend celebrity lectures on weekends so as to learn knowledge and experience that cannot be found in books. Last but not least, I receive local information as well as international news from the newspaper or magazines every day.

All in all, developing a habit of learning plays a vital role in each and every person’s life, and that is exactly what I want to change about myself. An old proverb goes: “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That’s why we call it the present.” Only when I spare no effort to gain knowledge to go on, and on and on, can I lead a fulfilling and significant life.

kanawidan

   Kannawidan is a festival that held every year in the province of Ilocos Sur in which the ilocanos show off their cultures and traditions in order to gather more tourist. 

    Every year the festival is improving and this year many new events are added in the list of many good events that kanawidan festival have to offer. One of the new this year is the motor show and racing which the goverment invite all racers not only in the province but whole luzon. Events like street dancing was also there in which the participants have 3 category the elementary category, high school category, and open category.

  kannawidan was so nice so come and visit ilocos sur and you will ecpirience a different level of joy and happiness.

My dream my future

No one can predict his own future and no one exactly can tell what will be your life next ten years, there’s a possibility that you will die or there’s a possibility that you will have your own family you just can’t tell.But planning is free so i can plan what will i become in ten years from now.

When you say ten years from now there's a few things that come to my mind like my plans and goals in life. We all know that all of us wanted a fairy tale ending in which theres a house, car, kids and also a beautiful wife. But in reality we must think first ourselves so i planned to graduate in college with a degree so that it can help me find a job. After getting a job I planned to create my own family and i want a large family so i can consider having more children but i don't know when or with whom. Having it's own family is a great responsibility so i need to do my best so that i can give all the things that my family needs. I also planned ten years from now to put up a business in which i will do everything i can so that it will grow and become a big company so that i can have an assurance of good life to the people i will left in case i die.

This is the things i want to be in ten years and i'll do everything yes everything for this things to be happen and that day i will remember this essay. An essay that encourage me to plan my future.

new year new me

Enjoy the little things in life, because one day you will look back and realize they were the big things. And that day comes as i write this essay i'm looking back and realizing the little things that come to my life last year.

One of the little thing i've just done is when I and my barkadas went caroling this christmas and after that we've decided to drink beverage. This was my first time to drink so the taste was bitter but after a while i've used to it until i get drunk. This moment was really kind of boring but this is not about it, it is about the feeling of being drunk, a feeling in which your body is overflowing of energy in which is you may even think that you can do everything you want. This feeling and sensation was so nice but when i stand up i suddenly out balance and almost fell on the ground and my sight is starting to blur and then i lay down on the table and sleep. 

When i woke up i've already realized that what i done and consider it one of the most shameful moment that i've done in my whole life and i'm afraid doing it again so leave the past in the past. Move forward and grow stronger and say to the world that it's new year and the best of me i yet to come

  Before we become successful we are only animals that used to live in forest but because we are learning to use our environment and make it very useful things we stand at the top of animal world and now ruling it.
  But there is people who is serving as backbone of our success and this was the researchers in which they find solution to a problem given to us by nature or other things that can end or make a struggle to our life. They are also the one  who discover new things and methods in order for us to be more successful than our current state.
  So thanks to them we are now at this rate and yet still improving. But we can consider our self if we find solution to the problem given to us. So lets research and go for the bright future

my teacher my hero

    Before we reach our goal we must go to school and learn.
    Learn new things that will enable us to achieve our goal and dreams in which we cannot learn it in our own. Before learning something there must be a person that will give us knowledge and help us understand this things. And this persons are no other than our precious teachers.
    Our Teachers is our stepping stone toward success and yet being a stepping stone is a hard job because they work a lot  everyday, they handle hundreds of students a day, they advice us when we need it and they understand us if we have problems and i think this responsibilities for us students are cruel and yet they have also other responsibilities to their family.
    Owww! how hard to be a teacher so as your student I acknowledge as my hero and i can say that my teacher my hero.

MODERN DAY HEROES

  There's a lot of hero  in our country and there's two different type or classification  of this the old one and modern one. The old one are the heroes during the spanish period just like Jose Rizal, Andress Bonifacio, Apolinario, Luna brothers, Tandang Sora and many more. But we have the other classification the new one or modern heroes.
  The modern heroes are heroes who doesn't fight or use weapon but they are the one who is sacrificing a lot for someone or helping with out expecting an exchange of any valuable thing or service. And in this world i knew one who has this traits and this person is no other than my mother. My mother is my hero because she sacrificed a lot in order for me to achieve this level and she continuing helping me  and teaching me so that i will atain my goal.
  So in this world i can consider my mother as one of the modern heroes in our generation so i'll leave a question . Wo is your modern day hero?
